Psalm 18:28: 'You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning, my God turns my darkness into light.'
This truth rings loud and clear this time of year. It is the season where twinkly little lights are sparkling everywhere I look and I am reminded over and over how You turn my darkness into light. If You hadn't come down and filled this earth with glory we would be filled with darkness even in the brightest of sunshiny days.
So, Thank-you, Jesus, for coming down and filling this heart with your glory, thank-you for bringing light to this sin-darkened soul. Glory to God in the highest!
